What is Man of the Match?
Man of the Match is a football video game for both consoles and PC.
It is free to play (No microtransactions!), play to earn (Not NFT!), and built for the community and by the community.In Man of the Match (MOTM), you can choose to play two main roles: You can choose to play as a player

.With state-of-the-art image capture technology, we will be able, by your personal mobile device, to scan your face, capture every detail, every wrinkle, and embed it into the game, giving you your very own, personal avatar, so you can manifest yourself in the game. As a player, you and your new avatar will need to make the best choices for your football career, alongside your teammates, who will also have their own realistic avatars

Watched this video and whilst the concepts appear honorable, they're so far away from achieving their vision (late 2025 for some actual footy action).
The concept is basically mimicking every aspect of real world football into this game from fan to staff to player so you can perform any of those roles.
The monetary benefit depends a lot on prize money from sponsorships and ad revenue from what was discussed.
I love that they're limiting skill moves and focusing on actual football simulation over the Arcady mess it's become today.
Matchmaking will also be server based which means we'll be shafted in the beginning.
