This must be Unreal Engine 5 right?
I see the Steam player counts on this are crazy. I wonder how much that is weighted to China. As by the sound of it, there are few games on Steam in China. A friend of mine has been pushing me to get this on release as he is getting it on release, but I think I will hold on for a bit.

Black Myth: Wukong makes record-breaking debut on Steam
It’s bigger than Counter-Strike and might yet beat out PUBG, toowww.polygon.com

That's a big portion and the second biggest being Hong Kong. Still very cool. For any game to get that number of concurrent players is great, even if it's all from one region.
Yeah, I watched a video on it a moment ago. It does look really cool. I like Souls-like games, but not everything needs to be Souls-like. Also, sounds like it's linear, which I'm all for.It must be cool from a Chinese perspective to have a big game centred around their own mythology.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find out it's closer to a boss rush style action game than a soulslike.
Sounds like the PS5 version is going to be a little rough, but might pick it up on sale for the PS5 Pro.
So you're getting a PS5 Pro? I'm still on the fence about it. I'll wait until it's official and decide. I've always just stuck with my original PS Fat until the next gen and hopped between a competing console or PC in between if I'm looking for something else to play.
If the base PS5 takes big performance hit on new games, and if it can pump out 4K 120Hz and true ultra-wide it may be worth it for me. My TV is only 60Hz,but I've been looking at new ultra-wide monitors with higher refresh rates I want to use for work.
PS5 version needs a patch or two it seems. Not surprising as with every game these days. Although based on the DF review they made some strange decisions that can easily be fixed like locking the frame rate at 45 and no VRR. Also no HDR.
Picked it up last night and enjoyed the bit I played, so far enjoying the linearity of the game so hopefully it stays like that, also like how close bosses are to each other, within 10 minutes went through 3 in the opening area so far which is great. Although one of them wouldn't let me pick up their soul cause I didn't have perception or something like that. They are good starting bosses as well, easy slow movements to see and gives you time to understand mechanics of combat.
Feels like there is some input delay but that may be due to having a barebones character at the moment, skill tree seems to allow cancels and offsets so will see how combat opens up later in the game as it's pretty basic at the start and once you commit to a button press that's it, no dodge cancels or anything.

I wonder if the Recently Purchased thread is going to be feature a lot of collectablefiguresdolls with big tiddies again
Sorry, I wrote that badly.Does it currently not have VRR, or that they need to lock the frame rate and disable VRR?
