So some Commodore enthusiasts have purchased and are now the owners of Commodore.

On 31 July 2025, we completed the full acquisition of the whole of Commodore Corporation, signing the final papers in The Netherlands - having completed payment ahead of schedule. This acquisition includes all 47 original Commodore trademarks, the oldest dating back to 1983. We’re proud to have achieved this milestone and thank you sincerely for your faith and support in making it happen.

They are selling 3 different models right now, one being a limited edition Founders Edition (only 6400) being made.

It's niche and for Commodore fans I suppose. The build quality also looks pretty good. I like the old skool beige.

I think it would be fun to program on it. I recall programming Pascal, C, and a bit of AMS in DOS, I loved it. If it were cheaper, I would get one.

All I remember from the C64 was putting the Ghosts n Ghouls game in (on a tape) and I think another game was called "Solo Flight". Both tapes, type "LOAD" and you got a prompt afterwards that said "Press play on tape". Then you press play and wait 5 or 10 minutes and then game lodsaded
