Dragon Age Veilguard

I'm actually really impressed so far. Feels so good. Combat could be a little faster but Dragon Age has always had that slower feeling (it's not DMC!).
The strand based hair is fantastic, feels like a real "next-gen" fantasy game. Some of the forest scenes remind me of the Fable reveal trailer with its superb characters.

As a huge Inquisition fan I must say that this new title gives me similar vibes and I'm happy.

After finishing the first main quest my opinion so far is game is great. Story and companions are fantastic.
Graphics very good, not cyberpunk level but still very good. Technical performance is excellent for me, playing with a rtx 3080 5800x3d at 1440p.
Combat is passable, still would have preferred rtwp or turn based and the ability to control companions.

thank you gents - real reviews

Finished the game today. Fantastic experience overall.
The absence of a bad/evil path does restrict replayability.

Got nearly 100 hours out of it. So well spend for me.

~57 hours for my mage dude and I did every quest and maxed out all the factions. Got my fair share of treasure but not 100%, the verticality of the maps makes treasure hunting for 100% a little tedious.

Definitely has replayability too. I started a new game with a lady rogue and the combat changes significantly.
Will also change my favourite companions for new squad dynamics as the first time around I used Harding and Bellara most of the time.

Game was great and really got me excited for the next Mass Effect too.

I got about 80 out of Dragon Age : Origins.
Origins would be a lot higher for me as I finished playthroughs with origin story. Sadly don't have the actual time played.

From combat perspective maybe if you like this style of combat. My comment was based on story. From what I have seen there isn't much in terms of different paths one can take. There is 3 mayor decisions in the story .
