Sometimes they just need to apply common sense instead of technical rules. Also regarding pens those incidents should be direct FK where as a 1v1 on goal should be a pen imo so that there's less play acting for pens as well. Hopefully that gives them a better opportunity to get decisions right.

Felt it only right for my first "return" post to be in this thread. Also just wanted to thank Chelsea for stopping Liverpool from spending over 100m on a player worth a 3rd of his asking price. Looking forward to a season of bants.

Yeah I wasn’t keen on spending that kind of cash on him. But it still wasn’t a good look when any player doesn’t want to come to your club after offering big money.

Overall though, blessing in disguise. Hopefully Endo does the job Klopp was looking for. Szoboszlai looks like a good buy, need a nickname for him though.

Yeah, pretty embarrassing window thanks to the Caicedo and Lavia attempts. The Endo transfer makes sense, but I do feel we’re missing another big name number 6 this window.

LFC made my week.

I was so jealous of my Manc mates for that sweet 'from the depths of despair' feeling only for LFC to top it.


Outside of everything else, the reffing is diabolical across the board in the PL so far this season.

Being a united fan I was cursing my mates for jinxing the result when pool were down with 10 men. Seems like every 'top' team is fumbling whilst city march on to another title. Completely agree on the refs this season. VAR in general is pointless in it's current set up.
