Gone but not forgotten (RIP Thread)
Actress Michelle Trachtenberg, who rose to fame as a child star in the 1990s and 2000s, has died aged 39.

Police in Manhattan said they responded to an emergency call on Wednesday morning, and found Trachtenberg "unconscious and unresponsive". She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The American actress was best known for playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer's younger sister Dawn Summers, and later took on the role of manipulative socialite Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl - which ran from 2007 to 2012 - as an adult.

RIP Michelle. Way too young. Wonder if they will recast her for the Buffy reboot. Very sad that she won't be around for it.

RIP Gene. Wonderful actor that has given me lots of good moments over the years.

What a legend. One of the best actors of all time.

Seems suspicious, 2 people and a dog does not scream “natural causes”.

Ken’s gas leak seems very plausible.

Gene Hackman was likely dead for 9 days before he and his wife were found, sheriff says

Data from actor Gene Hackman’s pacemaker shows he was likely dead for nine days before he and his wife were found dead at their New Mexico home, authorities said.

The pacemaker shows Hackman’s “last event” was recorded on February 17, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza said at a Friday news conference. “According to the pathologist, I think that is a very good assumption, that that was his last day of life,” the sheriff said.

George Foremen has passed away, peacefully in his sleep, at age 76. He was a beast in the ring, one of the heaviest hitters ever. RIP champ.
