Enjoyed it. Not what I was expecting, and both Stone and Plemons didn't disappoint. They carried this low budget movie with their craft.

Seems Stone has the Nic Cage mojo and ethic. She is quite the talent.

I haven't seen it yet, but looking forward to it.

A pedantic point, but it's not a low budget movie at +-50 million USD. It's a Yorgos Lanthimos film, he's quite a big deal as directors go and Emma Stone is a regular collaborator (Kinds of Kindness, The Favourite, Poor Things).

I do like her current choices though, she's been in some really interesting projects lately. Check out the series "The Curse" from Nathan Fielder and Bennie Safdie if you haven't already. If you've watched a Safdie brothers film (Good Time, Uncut Gems), you know the kind of tension you can expect, mixed with some awkward Nathan Fielder left field weirdness.

That would make it the biggest movie in history by a looong way 😂

Watched Avatar 3 tonight. 5/10.
Tired repeat of the first two movies. Some lazy sloppy stuff in it too. Like watching a 3 hour alien nature documentary. Where’s the guy that gave us Terminator 2?

Give it a chance. It's way out there. Loved it. Great cast.

The child actress is just fantastic.

It's average, not good, not bad..say 6/10

Liam hasn't got the comedic timing or delivery like the late great Leslie Nielsen. There were some funny parts buts it's missing the original 80s/90s clever slapstick and play on words. Pamela Anderson looking good, glad she hasn't gone down the road of facelifts.

Some action, some camaraderie and one liners but totally forgettable stuff.

The Rip

Enjoyed this one. Well acted, good pacing, enough mystery in the plot to keep it interesting. Good job overall.

If I had legs I’d kick you.

As intended; it’s one tough watch. A movie that puts you right in that zone of discomfort and frustration. Byrne deserves the accolades for sure. Can’t recommended it as a watch to anyone as it’s simply not a good time at all.
