The Dropout​

The music in this series is absolutely terrible (bar one - Bowie) and "in-your-face" in certain episodes. How some executives (from other companies) acted was crazy, bordering on the ridiculous. The fact that this story is true was shocking to me. What a scumbag company. 6/10
 
The White Lotus - Season 1

Enjoyed the subtle but dark comedy, decent story lines. Being 6 episodes, wasn't drawn out either. Overall good.

Spy family season 1 was quite wholesome.
Not the deep drama of Clannad and the total action of demon slayer or comedy troupe seen I other anime.
But quite enjoyable.

Until a new jojo bizarre adventure season comes out.
 
Halo Season 1.

Wife and I both enjoyed it, not knowing much about Halo the games but I felt it was fairly well done.

Some caveats apply:

The CGI was overall pretty good but when the Spartans jump about it looks cheapo.

Not convinced by the main actor, or maybe the character isn’t done enough justice. Master Chief is iconic even to PS fanboys, he doesn’t seem terribly badass in this. a lot of the time he’s just confused, getting played, getting beaten up and then outdone by Cortana.

Hopefully season 2 unleashes him a bit more.

I haven’t seen the show, but got to check out the suits they wear while in LA - very cool:

Watched Season 2 and it was a step up from high is good. But it looks like there won’t be a season 3. I hate this about modern TV shows.
 
The White Lotus - Season 2

Was very good, great characters

Overall I still feel season 1 was better, possibly because season 1 is more simplistic and pokes fun at rich folk and their antics all while keeping it local to the hotel. Season 2 seemed to try too hard to out do season 1 by bringing in external influences into the hotel to try create more drama and stories. Maybe I just missed Armond from season 1 :p

Currently watching Reacher season 3. For some reason i am struggl;ing to get into it. The lady FBI agent performance alse seems very flat. I enjoyed the first 2 seasons
 
First 4 eps of Devil May Cry have been awesome. Animation is clean and the soundtrack is what you'd expect of a DMC title. Clearly made by fans of the franchise lots of references thrown in the episodes.

Was good. Got a bit draggy, but redeemed itself by the end. LOVED the ending.
Heads up: It gets pretty 'dark'

It does, but not to the extent that it might change things for you.

The show is slow and deliberate on purpose so there’s a lot of that right through.
 
I've completed Black Mirror season 7 and You season 4. Busy with Sopranos season 3 atm
