Star Trek: Picard

Season 1: Better than most of the modern Star Trek series & movies. 8/10
Season 2: What the **** happened here? This is overflowing with romantic schmaltz, unnecessary dream sequences, and stupid conversations. Picard comes across as a feeble old moron. 5/10
Season 3: It's an improvement, but the new character (Jack Crusher) and the actor are annoying. 7/10

1923

Season 1: The further adventures of the Dutton (1883) family. If Spencer and Alexandra's love scenes were shorter, the series would rate higher—too much syrup. The story of the rest of the family and the Native Americans was excellent. 8/10

After the longest time I finally watched all seasons of The Soprano's.
Was very good. Some scenes and characters had me WTF LOL.
Pity Gandolfini passed, because the end of S6 is/was quite a cliffhanger.

Terrific ensemble of characters and guest stars.

Not actually a cliffhanger (the ending is quite definite), but it did leave a lot of people scratching their heads.

Also really enjoyed the show. Sopranos and OZ, to my mind, are what got the ball rolling on proper prestige adult TV.

Started watching Monarch on the weekend having not gotten to it for weeks now mostly because my wife wasn’t infested.

We tried the first episode and she actually said let’s watch another one which was surprising.

So we are a few episodes deeper and while the content is nothing new really it’s bonded together in a very engaging manner that keeps you wanting to watch more which is ultimately what good TV is about.

Also started Criminal Record as we generally enjoy British shows more but the first episode was a surprisingly slow burn and Monarch kind of took over so we haven’t been back yet.

Expected a Hi/Jack vibe from it at first, but it actually reminds me more of The Wire in many ways.

Finally saw the final episodes of Attack on Titan and was satisfied with the ending. It’s right up there in terms of series for me and it’s only a matter of time before Netflix or Disney try to make a live action series for their platforms.

For All Mankind

Season 1: Surprisingly good. 8/10
Season 2: Bloody American blowhards. No likeable characters. Still a good watch. 7/10
Season 3: To Mars! Why do 90% of the characters either have to be know-it-all wise arses or hard/jock types? Great story though. 7.5/10
Season 4: This story has now also gone down the toilet. Absolutely zero likeable characters. 5/10

Yeah, I am struggling with Season 4 now. The magic seems gone.

They could have done more with Margo and her "ex", and how she committed "treason".

The whole thing about Helios and Dev taking over again is just silly.

And then Kelly going to Mars which I can only assume that she or her dad Ed will die .

...its just flat!!

Fargo S5 - 9/10

Return to form for Fargo, after a weak season 4. Overall another amazing season, my only gripe was the unevenness of the finale, although happy with the actual outcome.

Season 1:
This story is all over the show and doesn't seem to have direction. Most episodes feel like they have been filled with fluff to make up the 58 minutes. Ridiculous dance scenes come to mind. 6/10

I know it has been slated and hated on, but I started watching Rings of Power (LOTR) series.
2 episodes in.
but
Damn it is GOOD so far.

Dr. Death

Season 1: Based on the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch and very well portrayed by Joshua Jackson (Fringe). Shocking and remarkable. 8/10
Season 2: Another monster masquerading as a doctor. Shocking. 8/10
