It is probably difficult to blame Westerners and residents elsewhere in the Western Cape if they are currently so slightly fed up with the WIND. Because it blows and blows. And nice and strong at times! Hit the 40km/h again today here in St Helen Bay.
So strong and persistent that it "moves" bare lands loose sand to adjacent roads.
Workers from the West Coast District Municipality had to jump in this morning and remove accumulated sand from the piece of tar road between the R399 and the West Coast Road (R27), as it poses a danger to road users.

This was on the 31st of December. Got a lot worse it seems.

Had to go and see a new client in Inanda, Durban. Found this greatly priced apartment on the Marine Parade. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the beach front and the number of security. Also had a great time watching the prossies in the nighttime. Seems business is booming.

Where was this? My grandparents used to take me to their bowling club in Durbanville back in the day. Not the most thrilling day out, but it was different.

It was in Somerset-West. I went in with a litteral balls to the wall approach. Sunk the jack a few times and got told I bowl too hard and too skeef - to which I replied I am too hard and too skeef.
So it is what you make of it I guess. Does not even compare to last year's clay pigeon shooting or the year before zip lining at Grabouw.
