Honestly very skeptical about this remake. Bloober team has been very miss of late with their games.



 
Im getting more and more exited for this game.

I still have my PS2 copy haven't played it in a long time as the ps2 has not as trust worthy as it once was (Not always reading discs)

Im keen on getting the physical copy of the game, I haven't seen any pre-orders for the physical copy. Anybody know if where I will be able to get the physical copy once it is released?

My brother ended up buying the game for me, the physical copy was delayed slightly which is okay, Its on its way now so im excited to play

Reviews are looking good.

Me too, the original was really special game me, so great that it got the love it deserves.

One of the complaints i have heard so far is that the combat is clunky, which im really happy about. Part of the suspense in the original was due to the clunky combat, its almost a game mechanic. That being said I haven't seen much reviews just watched enough to make sure its going to be good but not to spoil to much.

I haven't played the original in years so its going to be very fresh picking the remake up.

Well its certainly clunky, we've been spoiled with auto lock-on for the past few years
 
I never even played the original, but I find it interesting and proper, I played the first hour. Will finish it and then proceed to play the main course (Metaphor Refantazio)

Nice good to see that someone that doesn't have a nostalgic connection to the original is also enjoying it. Im still waiting for my copied to get delivered which should be this afternoon or tomorrow. Physical copy was delayed by a day.

I still have a Ps2 physical copy a bought from a gam rental shop years back same game i used to always rent. Box is a bit beat but it has the DVD and the game. Was considering to fire my ps2 up and play it before the remake but I want to go in "fresh" on the remake maybe after i I finish it ill play the OG again to compare.

Im actually glad they kept it clunky
 
Been getting myself amped for the game looking into it more that i wanted to but it is what it is a this point, I think this is one of the rare games ill be playing on quality mode

What have you guys been playing on? Or what are you going to play on? I feel the atmosphere, is more important higher FPS for this game.

Was just thinking about that, if it hasn't been enhanced for the ps5 pro yet I am pretty sure it will be in the near future. Especially considering the positive reception the game has received.

It will almost certainly get a Pro update, according to the initial Pro document leak, it's mandated that titles from this point on must support the Pro.
 
Got the game! Worth waiting 2 extra days for the physical copy! To my surprise i got the steel case as well! Thanks @GAME 4U !

I have decided im going to play the game on quality mode, just need to decide on the difficulty.

I think it has separate difficulty for action and for puzzles. Think ill put both on hard.

If i where the cover designers i would have put Playstation 5 "banner" across the top like the ps2 version. But im sure Sony has rules on how the Playstation 5 logo should look it can probably only be a white banner with the "PS5" logo
 
Something interesting I noted on the inside of the game cover/Back of the reversible cover is that it contains a VR health warning. Not sure if thats on all games, the only other physical game i own is Gran Turismo 7 and i get it on there.

Wonder if its just a general health warning they include on all games because you can use Psvr 2 as screen or are they planing a future VR mode for the game? It does specifically talk about "virtual reality content"
