Today the real benefits of being your own boss hit me really hard.

I was the only person at a supplier meeting this morning, and now at the shop, barefoot and in shorts :)

I had to wear jeans for the first time this year as I had clients, I wish I could work ln shorts every day in the summer.
 
Kaap is fokken warm. Envy you folks with pools at home. Thank goodness my work days are shorter than most others now. That cold shower is heaven soon as i get home.

as an aside, is being naked in the garden an age thing. Cause it is so fantastic now.

I mean you are the boss, nothing is stopping you.

Ironically I'm not the boss and I can wear shorts and go barefoot if I like...but being on a bike it's too much effort to change.

Ja, I hate paying SARS, I am waiting for my Provisional SARS bill for February.
 
I ventured into my work email spam folder this morning. Holy crap.
The amount of: Order confirmations, Payment approved, Please complete to release funds, Urgent quote and payment details, Payment notifications and orders that require you to download and complete some form.

Crazy. Its a fucking minefield of charlatans and crooks out there folks. Keep your wits about you.

I don't even answer my phone anymore, I get scam calls on a near daily basis, sometimes multiple calls a day.

The emails I get are generally more entertaining, Only Fans girls who apparently are dying to get to know me, matches on Tinder, hackers who've been recording me fapping to porn - it's kind of interesting to see what people come up with.
 
It’s bad everywhere. Scams catch so many Aussies it’s crazy.

I get a few Chinese phone calls a week, I’ve got the tax office after me and there’s always a parcel for me at customs.
