If the advantage was as big as some make it out to be, she’d have won every bout in her career. She didn’t even medal at the last Olympics.
Born with a vagina, always had a vagina, still has a vagina. Why would this person decide to compete against men?
Transgender is easy enough to detect but this would require every female athlete across all sports to do genetic testing. Can’t just go on “looks a bit butch”.

They are not men, if they are intersex they have traits from both and often negative side-effects unique to their situation:
Again, it is not cut and dry. Being intersex does not mean you are a man in all but appearance, that is a gross oversimplification for simple people who want to force the world into a simple binary that simply does not exist.

I thought it was a trans athlete when I saw the footage so my initial reaction was outrage until I learnt the real story. My take is that if we cheered for Caster then we have no right to complain about this. It's a technicality that these people have managed to exploit and until there is a rule against it we have to accept it, right or wrong.

I don't think it's a technicality they're exploiting, I think it's a grey area that needs careful consideration on a case by case basis. You don't need to be in possession of a Y chromosome in order to have male attributed advantages, by the same token having a Y chromosome doesn't mean you possess those male advantages either.
Some people can generate a lot more strength in a punch than others, which can be attributed to a wide variety of factors. If you watch or participate in combat sports you know some people just hit different - it's not for me to determine which genetic fluke is allowed and which isn't, that is for people more qualified to judge. It's boxing, hitting someone hard is the name of the game.

They just need to come up with definitive rules and apply them to all athletes.
25 years ago they would have said: “drop your pants, oh look a vagina, you’re a girl. Carry on”.
10 years ago they would have said: “you were born a female, you still have a vagina so you’re a girl. Carry on”.
Now it looks like they might have to do complex DNA tests to determine what you are. That can’t be done selectively. Every single female athlete across the board would have to do it for it to be fair and accurate. My bet is there would be a lot of surprises then.

the IBA were fine up until the point they banned the males with DSD in 2023. Then the IOC made allegations of corruption and financial irregularities which they have provided no evidence for, and voted to remove them. It was purely a politicised move because
1) they don't agree science and biology should determine if you're eligible to fight, because the IOC believe passports to be adequate.
2) it has some Russians in charge and this was at the peak of the Ukraine invasion.
Where are the IOC tests showing that the fighters do not have a physical advantage over the female fighters? Or is it OK that beating up women for the sake of political and woke agenda is more important than protecting women against abuse?

The 6”7 volleyball girls have a physical advantage over the 5”3 girls, should they be banned for a physical advantage?

No but You would thibk they realise they are bit off or half and half at some point in their life. Let's not pretend.
A 6"7 girl should take advantage of her height. Height and pretending to be a woman even if you're half woman is not a straight comparison.
Intersex boxers should compete with other intersex boxers if they have to be boxers.

Because usually they are not that talented or skilled, and can only win by using the additional physical strength and bullying women, and they are more about winning than morals and ethics.

They were suspended by the IOC back in 2019 already after multiple scandals, with USA Boxing also cutting ties with them.
Beating each other up is the sport, the question is what advantages are okay and what aren't - that is not cut and dry, whatever your politics.
Definitely, and it's not just about chromosomal testing, there are many other genetic factors that could result in similar possible discrepancies. A battery of tests would have to be decided on and weighed against the requirements of each sport.

Look i would rather they err on the side of caution here in terms of preserving woman's sport.
How they do that is the tricky part and for others with proper understanding of genetics etc to decide. It just seems like there's too many meat-heads out there who see a picture and then jump to some stupid conclusion. They might be right ultimately but that has to be determined by some in depth testing not just a person's visual appearance.
