young Quaid is growing on me. Time to give Novacaine a watch.
 
Watched Sinners.

Some really gorgeous shots and some pretty wild, awesome moments. Very much borrows from From Dusk Till Dawn but it’s still a pretty good time if you just go along for the ride.

Great audio visual experience, loved the fact that the theme music used throughout was a rendition of Outkast's ET from ATLiens.
 
The Amateur.

Was expecting a lot more given the premise and performers. Ultimately it’s just a mediocre action film with a slightly different take.
 
The accountant 2 - enjoyed it but not as good as the first one.

Predator Killer of Killers - the first 2 arcs were great but the third one and ending was lame.
 
Thunderbolts - Further emphasizing why I no longer go to the cinema to watch these anymore. What a boring movie, you have the Sentry and still manage to make it boring.

That is sad to hear. The trailers looked okay but as you said i am also not going to the Cinema for these anymore
 
Ballerina - enjoyed it, always nice to see more of this world that was created and different continental hotels. It wasn't as stylish and music wasn't as good as the Wick movies but the action was good, some great kills and use of weapons you don't usually see.
 
The old guard 2 - was ok, annoyed that it's basically a 2 part movie, hopefully not as long a wait between them. Couldn't get over that awful haircut they gave Charlize though, like who the hell in hair and makeup department approved that crap, it's awful.
 
Megan 2.0 - enjoyed this one, it's a fun movie, a shame it flopped so a 3rd isn't likely to happen.

Karate Kid Legends - was ok, definitely a cash in on cobra kai though.
 
Was on a few planes recently so:

Gran Turismo - thought it was pretty bad. Not terrible but just not good.

Novocain - simple, silly fun with some funny moments. Basically delivers what’s on the box.

The Day the Earth Blew Up - yup a Looney Tunes movie which made me laugh more than once. Took me back a few decades.

Last Breath - Although predictable it was tightly put together, well acted and overall decent enough.

Think I’m missing one or two.
 
War of the Worlds (2025) on Prime.

Utter garbage, don't waste your time. It's not really about aliens, and more about privacy, government surveillance, and overall dependency on internet and being connected 24/7. It's KAK!!!!
