Earth worms.
Pretty sturdy too - I applied some Jack Russel logic, if you can't eat it then pee on it. It was still standing proud after a yellow shower.

Crazy stuff. I know this happens in places around the world but not aware of any in SA?Low Tide vs High Tide
This is in the UK, Woolacombe Beach. It's just like a South African golden sand soft beach, proper waves. Reminds me of Muizenberg and Kings Beach (PE). When you're on the beach, you can see the high tide marks way above you on the rocks next to you.
SA tides were around 1.5m except for the occasional Spring tide where the waves get incredibly high but that's a once off
