What Do You Collect?

Yup! The biggest problem for us here in SA is the limited amount of figures that actually get here, totally sucks...
 
I used to collect Funko Pop currently have around 115 of the pieces of plastic space wasters, toying with the idea of selling off 90% of them.

Also collect Blu-ray and DVD(well not DVD anymore). Have around 300 Blu-Ray movies and around 200 DVD movies. Quite a lot of TV Series on DVD and Bluray as well.

Recently started with 4K UHD Blu-Ray collecting, only have The Lord of the Rings UHD set with the Theatrical and Extended cuts and the Godzilla/Kong 5 movie set to date, I want to replace some older DVD sets of Indiana Jones and Back to the Future with 4k sets, just waiting on JB Hifi to have a sale again as those are quite pricey.

Also still buy my games physically when possible as just prefer it so collecting games I guess, but gaming has taken a back burner as I don't have time.

The Indiana Jones Ultra HDs are really good - especially like the look of the steelbooks!

Thanks, good to know. It's the below one I'm eyeing, think it's the steelbook, from Amazon pictures it looks like it, JB Hifi does not specifically say it's steelbook.

I think that’s the regular collection*, the steelbooks I’m referring to are sold separately. The content is exactly the same, I just prefer the old school artwork of the separate steelbooks.

*EDIT: Though I see you do get a steelbook set as well, but with the modern art style:

It is a fraction of the size of some Scandinavian / European collections I have seen. The biggest collection I ever saw was a guy who moved from Norway to the Phipines and over the years he had his collection shipped that side. He died two years ago, I wonder what happened to his massive collection.

Comics, Manga and Metroidvania style games on Switch.

Manga side I've just finished collecting all the Devil Man stuff trying to stick to hardcovers when it's an option but many haven't released in that format yet. I'm currently working on completing the Berserk Deluxe edition set, 14 volumes in tot so far and have up to 8. A shame the author died before it ended. I still remember back in the late 90's and into the 2000's we always said we hope he doesn't die before be finishes the story, same with One Piece.

Switch has way too many games to collect them all and I didn't want to just collect rubbish so stuck with a genre that had a bunch of fantastic games and it's been fun tracking down harder to find gems. Plus they hold their value a lot more compared to other consoles.

Comics really funds all the above and the comics themselves, always enjoy flipping a £1 book for £100+ and then funding more parts of my hobby collecting. Thanks to the MCU and people speculating on the wrong books it's easy money for hobby funding to buy bigger books for the personal collection.
 
Got bitten by the figure collecting bug again, sold all my figures when we left SA and kicking myself now when I look at what some of them are selling for on the secondary markets. On the plus side with Ebay I am able to get a lot of figures I could never get in SA. Started collecting again in January and picked up a new cabinet for the display as I was running out of space, cabinet is great and glad I went with this over the IKEA replacements for their old detolfs. A shame they discontinued the original detolf cabinets but happy with this replacement, the built in lighting and motion sensor is a great little feature.
