Formula One 2023-2024
Very happy for Sainz... yeah, he is unlikely to hold off Max (unless somehow LeClerc squeezes up between them), but either way, tifosi will be very happy, and Sainz is a good bloke.

If there are 2 Ferrari drivers on the podium, I'd call that a big win.

Im still not sure if I love this new format of tires but it does make qualies interesting. Happy for the Ferrari team, lets just see how #JustFerrariThings they go during the race.

The Maccas I feel are just not suited to the track, my hope is they are throwing dev money into the car for next year
I like it, we get to see them use all the tires and while it's maybe takes away from a slower car trying to get through on softs in Q1 it also shows up some cars that are not good on certain tires.

It's something a bit different and i'm happy for them to try lots of things to see what works and what doesn't.

If there are 2 Ferrari drivers on the podium, I'd call that a big win.
That would be huge, and it is actually possible. Ferrari need to get this tactically right and that's their curse.

Tsunoda pulls over at the end of the formation lap with a mechanical issue, and will not feature in the race

The grid will do another formation lap

Pretty entertaining race. Ferraris tried their best to crash into each other. Piastri in the wars. Checo with a solid effort. Albon good.

Combination of best driver in best car making him impossible to beat when he gets in front. Sainz and Albon were my drivers of the day. Albon basically drove the last 20 laps on his rims and still kept the others behind! [emoji23]

This is why Toto isn't relevant in my world. He is the reason I stopped supporting Merc. What a ****.

and no I am not an RB or Max fan
That was a good response when kept getting asked about it. No one really cares about those records.

Ferrari did a good job. Carlos really improved this year and he fought well for the podium. If Charles was behind him in 2nd they would have definitely held Max back.

The Singapore GP is going to be a good chance for Alonso and Mercedes. Alonso fighting alone in the constructors lol.

I have to say Oscar showed his rookie moves this race. But For me the driver of the day was between Sainz and Albon, that Williams and Albon is just a beast. He is seriously impressing me this season.

As much as I cannot stand MAx, I have respect for him after this race, he matured a lot, where he would have dived to take spots and cause accidents/bumping others, he drove cleanly and passed Sainz beautifully, it showed he has grown a bit.

Can we just talk about that RB and how it doesn't destroy tyres?! I was worried for most of the guys like Albon especially and will those tyres last.

Erm yeah, don't remember him saying records aren't important when Merc were smashing them. He has no answer to RB and i think that team is just getting depressed.

Oscar has pace but he's a rookie and those mistakes are in there for sure, although Ham is the one who hit him so even 7 titles doesn't absolve you of mistakes. He's getting some amazing experience in his first year.

Lawson doing a great job standing in for Ric and it looks like Ric will be out longer than anticipated.

So Red Bull have suspended Helmut Marko for making racist remarks against Perez. That's going to end well..
